Tin Whistle

Have you heard the sound of music coming from our classroom this week?!

First Class are very excited that they have started learning how to play the tin whistle in school.

 They cannot wait to learn some new songs to play!

The children in First Class love Maths and are using concrete materials to help them with their counting and addition.

We celebrated Robert's birthday this week in school. Happy 7th birthday Robert! We hope you enjoy using your homework pass!! 

Cress Seeds (Day 5)

After only five days our little cress seeds were ready to bring home!! 

                                      

The boys and girls compared their seeds, which grew very fast over the five days to our control, which had no water or sunshine to help it grow.

Cress Seeds (Day 4)

 The children in First Class are amazed at how quickly our little cress seeds are growing!!! 

Judo

First class had a session of judo today. They had great fun with Andrew and Meabh from the Renmore Judo Club. We can't wait for judo again next week!!

Our cress seeds are growing very fast! 

They have started to grow little leaves.

 The boys and girls were VERY excited today to see that some of the seeds have already started to sprout after one day! Come back tomorrow to see if more have sprouted! 

Cress Seeds (Day 1)

The children planted some cress seeds today in school! We are going to watch how they grow and investigate what the seeds need to grow (water and light).

Fun Friday!

The boys and girls in First Class had such a busy week this week so they were all delighted to have some "Golden Time" on Friday afternoon and some playtime on the Trim Trail in the playground!
