Perfect Parrots

We finished our rainforest parrots today. We love the bright colours on the parrots.

First, we carefully cut them out. Our cutting skills are really improving!

Next, we stuck on bright colourful feathers into the parrots.

We think they look great!

Painting Parrots

One of the animals from the Amazon Rainforest we are learning about is the parrot. They are really colourful and live in the canopy layer of the rainforest.

We painted really colourful parrots today in art. Tomorrow, when they are dry we will cut them out and stick on bright feathers!

Van Gogh inspired art

Today the children used two of Van Gogh's paintings as their inspiration for their art lesson today - "Starry Starry Night" and "Sunflowers".

Their completed masterpieces will be displayed very soon... Watch this space!!

Plum Blossom Trees

Today we painted plum blossom trees. They are a symbol of the Chinese New Year.

Emperor Penguins
