Street Smart Workshop

The boys and girls in first class went to a road safety workshop held by the Road Safety Authority in Carnmore. They learnt how to stay safe on the road and earned a "Safety Licence" at the end of the workshop.

During the Street Smart talk they learnt the safest ways to cross the road. They also talked about how to stay safe in a car and the importance of wearing a seat belt when travelling in a car.

The children had a chance to use their road safety knowledge in the RSA village.

They practised crossing the road safely.
