We were really lucky to have a lovely afternoon of music with the Music Generation musicians. We learnt about lots of different string and wind instruments.

Violin Recital

Both third classes came together for a fantastic violin recital in the school hall.

Hurling

We have enjoyed learning new hurling skills with our coach! 

Science Fair

Sixth Class invited us into their classroom for a wonderful Science Fair. We got to see so many fantastic science investigations...including an exploding volcano!!

Planting Vegetables

We have been learning about growing and plating vegetables this week. We learnt about the lifecycle of the onion! We headed out to our school vegetable beds to grow our own onions...we hope they grow!

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all our wonderful moms! We made this lovely cards in Art this week.

Pjyama Party

We won a wonderful class party treat! Our class earned the most tickets for speaking Irish this week. We voted for our prize.... which was a pyjama party!

Lego Project

Our Lego project is almost complete. We have really enjoyed working on it!

Lá Glas

We celebrated Lá Glas today!  We wore lots of green to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day. This week we learnt lots of Irish traditions and culture. We watched vidoes of Irish dancing and music. It was really interesting! Our class won a prize for speaking the most Irish too!
