Christmas Decorations

We made Christmas decorations for our Christmas trees using clay. It was great fun rolling the clay and using different tools to add designs to the decorations.

Christmas Jumper Day

We had our annual Christmas Jumper Day on Friday to raise money for charity. 

Our chosen charity this year is Enable Ireland.

Cress Seeds

Our cress seeds have grown so much in the last week! 

Elf on the shelf

We have had some elves visit our classroom this week to see how well we are behaving. 

They have enjoyed playing with our games and toys. They are quite mischievous! 

Measuring in Maths

We are learning how to measure length and width in Maths. 

Today we were using lollipop sticks and blocks to measure. We can't wait to use rulers and the metre stick tomorrow! 

Toys from the past

We are learning all about toys from the past this week in school. Múinteoir Sinéad brought in toys from the 1970's, 1980's and 1990's to show us. We loved looking at them and comparing them to modern toys. 

Our favourite toys were the GameBoy Colour, Etch a Sketch and the Polly Pocket. We can't wait to play with some of them during Golden Time on Friday.
